💡
Currently in beta. Using AI for data analysis and reasoning is nascent. For these reasons, you'll want to double-check outputs before taking action.

Agents are scheduled reports and alerts written by AI from your store's data. Each agent runs on a schedule, reads your live Kendall data, writes up what it finds, and sends it to email recipients, a Slack channel, or both. You'll find them under Agents in the navigation.
Reports and alerts
Every agent is one of two types:
- A report sends every time it runs. Use reports for recurring summaries like a weekly review or a monthly P&L.
- An alert only sends when its condition is met. If nothing needs your attention, nothing arrives. The agent still runs and checks on schedule; those quiet runs show as "Condition not met" in the list.
Ready-made agents
The Agents page starts with a set of agents built and maintained by Kendall, marked Managed by Kendall. Turn one on and it starts running. You don't write anything.
- Mid-day pulse (report, daily in the early afternoon). How today is pacing so far compared to the same time yesterday and a typical day.
- Weekly Meta ad suggestions (report, Mondays). Meta ads to scale, reduce, or kill based on spend and new-customer ROAS, plus creative variants to test.
- Weekly review (report, Mondays). Week-over-week KPIs, channel mix, and new vs returning customer breakdown.
- Monthly P&L summary (report, 1st of the month). The prior month's profit ladder from gross sales down to contribution margin after marketing.
- Mid-day ad-spend guardrail (alert, checks daily at mid-day). Fires when today's ad spend is pacing well above or below normal.
- Imminent stockout alert (alert, checks every morning). Fires when a SKU is projected to run out of inventory within 7 days.
Schedule times are in your store's local time.
Turning one on
- Flip the switch on the agent you want.
- Pick where it goes: email recipients, a Slack channel, or both. You can pick from addresses you already send Kendall reports to, or type new ones.
- Click Turn on.
The agent runs against the data view you currently have selected, so if you use more than one view, switch to the right one first (see Data Views).
